I bought this club after reading reviews on other sites and then gave it a test try.
The club face is low, in the Tight Lies tradition, which gives the player confidence they are going to get good connection. I can hit it well off tight lies or if I need to get it through moderate rough.
Distance wise, I can hit it about 210-220m off the turf, bit more off the tee.
When looking for a 3 wood, I did try a TM r5 and V Steel, but the Ovation just gave me more confidence at address.
