The X-20 Tour Irons combine Callaway Golf’s best X Series iron technology with traditional styling for tour-level looks and feel. X Series irons have always been about performance and forgiveness.

The X-20 Tour Irons advance that heritage with design elements more accomplished players will relish. With a shorter blade length, a narrower sole, thinner top line and square toe, these irons have all the elements better players seek for increased workability, in addition to the Callaway Golf playability you’ve come to expect.

The club’s tour-inspired head styling features a narrower sole, beveled trailing edge, chamfered top line and high toe, which produce a more traditional look that will appeal to the highly skilled player. The shorter blade length and minimal offset offer enhanced workability.

The heel design helps in reducing turf drag through the rough while the longer hosel helps strategically position the center of gravity (CG) for optimum trajectory control.

360-Degree Undercut Channel is a patented technology that maximizes perimeter weighting by moving the CG lower and farther back in the clubhead, enlarging the hitting area and stabilising the clubhead for more forgiveness.

i just got some of these bad boys. my goodness they are sweet. I was previously playing hogan forged apexes and didn’t think they could be trumped. but i have played 3 rounds with the x20s now (no range time with them) and have loved them.
The grooves are sharp as anything, i played a pinnacle exception (hard ball) and was still getting reasonable check on the ball. the proof was in the surylene left in the teeth!
I had nippon stiff (950s) in my hogans, these have the projectx 5.5s. they feel a little heavier, but that is what i like in my irons.

to be honest, could not fault them at all.

I hit 40 balls yesterday with the Callaway X-20 Tour, and really liked the feel off the club aswell as the workability. Also I was impressed with the forgiveness, the odd one I didn’t get out the middle still traveled straight and long. I give the club a 16.5/20.
