Forged from soft 1020 carbon steel, the new X-Forged Irons feature a Flighted CG Design for the ultimate in feel, trajectory and distance control. With their Notch Back design, shorter blade length, minimal offset and the thinnest topline and narrowest sole in the Callaway Golf line, our engineers have produced irons with the performance characteristics and classic visual elements elite players demand.

Forged 1020 Carbon Steel Construction provides unmatched feel and performance, giving elite-level golfers incredibly soft, responsive feedback at impact.

Tour-inspired styling features our thinnest top line, narrowest sole, shorter blade length and minimal offset, delivering the aesthetics and shot-shaping ability elite players demand.

The Flighted CG Design means the centre of gravity (CG) is strategically positioned lower in the long irons and progressively moves higher through the set, providing ideal trajectories and precision distance control.

Notch Back Design increases stability through impact, enhances feel and keeps the CG close to the face for maximum workability.

These irons look so good that they give you confidence. i used to play with old blades and wanted to upgrade. i found the transition quite easy although i had to improve my swing to get the same distance when hitting it pure. I change a slight fade to a slight draw, this helped with length as i felt a club short when i first tried the x forged irons. when i hit it pure: WOW what a feeling. I have the Project X 6.0 shafts which i cant fault. I will have a lesson soon to find out if these shafts suit my swing characteristics, or how i can change my swing to better suit the shaft, as this appears to be an issue for some.
overall very happy with the clubs. if it doesnt go straight on off centre hits i dont blame the club. thats my fault!!!

Great responsive club, cannot fault them. Unbelievably forgiving on off centre strikes.
