Ping G10 Draw (Drivers)

The 460cc G10 Draw driver is available to promote a right-to-left ball flight. The internal weight pad is positioned farther back and closer to the heel to help club head rotation. Together with a hosel positioned .25” farther forward, the strategically placed weight pad helps provide golfers a custom-fit option to help correct a left-to-right ball flight.

Using finite element analysis driven by a Cray Supercomputer, company engineers optimized the crown, sole and face structure interaction to ensure maximum energy transfer to the ball. Thinner crown and face designs provided discretionary weight which was positioned inside the club head to lower the center of gravity for reduced spin and higher launch.

PING’s patented variable face thickness technology produces a thin, highly responsive hitting surface for increased ball velocity and greater consistency across the face.

Available TFC 129D shaft flexes: Soft R, R, S and X. Also offered in Grafalloy ProLaunch Red (R, S & X) and UST V2 High Launch 65 (R, S & X).

The draw version is offered in 9°, 10.5°, 12° and 13.5° lofts.

After using a 10.5 degree Mizuno MX560 for ages and struggling to get any consistency out of it, I went to a 9.5 degree G10 Draw driver with Grafalloy Red shaft. I found this driver and shaft combination to give a much lower ball flight, with more accuracy off the tee, and a deep resonating thud when hitting the ball. The driver sets up perfectly behind the ball, and even when slightly off centre, the distance loss is only marginal, so off centre hits with this club are not to be feared.

It has given my game so much more control, and is simply a wonderful club. It delivers distance, accuracy and most importantly, confidence, without the hype and overblown technology often associated with drivers.

Have had the G10 in the bag for half-a-dozen rounds and love it – 10.5deg, prolaunch V2 stiff shaft. It replaced my TM R5 9.5 stiff neutral. Getting at least 15m more on the drives and rarely less than 9 or 10 (of 14) fairways per round. Doing the strange thing of running through the doglegs now. Very impressed with the club although it took a couple of rounds to adjust to the new “aiming point” on the course.

I recently brought the draw 10.5 degs and oh man what a club. It has changed the whole game for me. The main change was my confidence when I stand at the tea. I can’t say enough to express how good this club is. It goes high long and very very strait. I have already dropped shots in my game.

Best money I have ever spent on golf.

PROS

  • Best club on the market. (And i'v tried alot)

Cons

  • Can't think of any!!!

Had a hit with some of these the other day at a demo. Still cant get the smile off my face! The normal club face was great but the draw model was fantastic. The latter has an offset but you hardly notice and the club head sits nicely. I used to think a lot of the tech talk was propaganda however hitting this driver made me realise how valuable good drivers are! The confidence, consistancy and length will easily take strokes off my game.
