The Red X3 and X5 mallets replace the original Red X and Red X2 in the Titleist putter line, feature refined shapes and profiles with a new glare-resistant Charcoal Mist finish for unmatched looks and feel.
The Red X5 is milled from 303 Stainless Steel and machined both inside and out to provide precise internal weight distribution. Additional weight is distributed in the centre of the body, level with the equator of the ball, for better roll. The putter is finished with a black anodized aluminum soleplate that conceals the precise internal weighting. The sole is drafted with slight relative bounce allowing the putter to sit squarely without any face closure. The topline slopes up to create a high toe feature to help ensure the putter is soled with the proper loft and face angle.
The Red X5 features a plumbing neck with a full shaft of offset to give the soft lines of the body a precise, contemporary look at setup. Aesthetically, a large, bold red X complements the industrial machined look of the sole. The sole also identifies the model and length of the putter.
Red X5 is available in lengths of 33, 34 and 35 inches in right hand. It has 4 degrees of loft and 71 degrees of lie and features the red Cameron Baby T grip.
The Red X5 putter is available beginning September 15, 2007, with a suggested retail price of US$300.

I purchased one of the Red X5’s earlier this year to replace my Taylormade Rossa Daytona 1. The X5 is an excellent putter and has a very nice pendulum feeling when putting. I have managed to increase my shot strength with this club and can now sink or nearly sink 10m putts on a regular basis. 10 out of 10
