Mizuno MX-560 (Drivers)

Mizuno | Drivers | User Rating: Rate-4 (4.0) | Add A Review

The MX-560’s unique geometric 460cc head-shape solution delivers extreme forgiveness without sacrificing distance.

Mizuno’s engineers discovered that the MX-560’s optimal streamlined profile delivered maximum heel/toe and up/down MOI (twist resistance), without the reduction in ball speeds and driving distance characterised by other high forgiveness designs.

Ball carry is maximised by the use of a precision milled clubface ensuring that all MX-560’s consistently perform to the limit of the USGA / R&A trampoline effect ruling.

The MX-560 driver is available in 8.5, 9.5, 10.5, and 12 degree lofts. A left handed model is available in 9.5 and 10.5 degree lofts. Mizuno’s Exsar DS3 graphite shaft (L, LT, R, S) is standard. Also standard on the MX-560 will be the exclusive Mizuno/Golf Pride M-21 58 grip.

A great driver if you don’t mind the unusual tinny sound it makes when struck, which tends to draw the attetion of others. Off centre hits can still get good distance, but one out of the middle and you’ll fall in love with it as the ball just keeps going, and going, and going. It appears with my swing, that a slower swing speed tends to work best, but it can easily crank it out above 250m with a decent strike.
