I have recently purchased a 9.5 degree callaway tour lgc driver.
It seems more forgiving than your standard driver. I have hit a few that should have burnt right but just hung in there to skirt down the edge of the fairway where as with my old driver they would have been off.
you do have to tee them up a bit because of the height of the face but the ball flight is lower that expected and quite penetrating especially into wind. The sound may not be for everyone it is quite distinct and kind of loud but that aside i have hit futher and straighter with this club on several holes than i have before so yep it is worth the bucks for my mind.
