The Victory Red Forged TW Blade is a forged iron that is all about precision. It features a more traditional muscle back design that includes a conspicuous and recognizable “TW” mark. The center of gravity of the Victory Red TW Blades is positioned to Tiger Woods’ specs and provides ultimate control and shot shaping demanded by Nike Golf’s preeminent athlete himself.
Made of 1025 Forged Carbon Steel with a CNC milled face, the Victory Red Forged TW Blade differentiates from Nike’s original Blades with a more modified backpad and a slightly thicker toe.
Validating his confidence in the Victory Red brand, Woods used a 60-degree Victory Red Wedge during his stunning performance at the US Open in June.

I have been anticipating the release of the Nike Victory Irons range since they were announced in June, although I had originally believed the shallow split cavity would be the best suited to my game. My anticipation was however tempered by a healthy dose of respect for not wanting to ruin my golf game by buying an unsuitable iron out of ignorance or marketing hype.
Indulging myself that blades were a viable option for a 7 handicapper was more wishful thinking than reality, but I hit them anyway and instantly fell in love. Having played with quite forgiving Callaway X20’s and Nike Ignites before them, I never quite knew what they meant by ‘feedback’. Now I do – and in spades! I found them far superior to the Shallow Split Cavity, which comes with a dodgy Nike custom grip and the club doesn’t feel anywhere as nicely balanced or refined as the blade. (although its always horses for courses, some might find them more suitable to their swing)
In simple terms, these are brilliant irons – a masterful release by Nike. They feel magnificent throughout the swing, really assist keeping you on plane the entire way and you can feel where you are at all times. The ball flight is penetrating and the ball stops quite well from 6 iron up.
Having played cavities for so long, the look of the blade on the 3-6 irons was a bit intimidating at first, but they really make you switch on and my results have so far exceeded my expectations. I have had a few ‘stingers’ when lazy in practice, but that is a sharp reminder to stay focused and I haven’t hit 2 bad shots in a row. 2nd time out I had 36 pts and had I not 3 putted 4 greens from inside 15 feet, it would have been a very good day. I can’t wait til Saturday to give em another run.
The S300 shaft is fine, although I have nothing to compare it too, since I have upgraded from Uniflex. Some may prefer the Project X but I see nothing wrong with the stock standard at ths point.
