Cleveland Launcher (2008) (Drivers)

IN: PRODUCT REVIEWS | Cleveland | Drivers | Add A Review

Boasting extremely low spin, a mid-trajectory and high MOI, it is the longest and straightest Launcher that Cleveland Golf has ever produced. Compared to the original Launcher and Launcher Comp, the New Launcher boasts a 21% larger face making it the largest to date. This allows generous room for mis-hits.

The Launchers’ horseshoe shaped weight pad on the rear perimeter of the sole significantly improves launch conditions and stability by localising 17 grams of weight low and deep in the clubhead, improving both MOI and center of gravity location.

At only a half millimetre in thickness, the new Launcher crown is the thinnest possible, which also helps move every bit of potential weight low and deep to optimize launch conditions and maximize distance. Beyond the head design, the longer, lighter Fujikura Fit-On Flightspeed shafts lead to higher swingspeeds and additional yardage to make the new Launcher the complete package.

The Launcher driver is available in lofts of 9.0º, 10.5º, and 12.0º, will carry a street price of US$299 and begin shipping in the US on October 15, 2008.
