The Callaway Golf Forged Wedges combine Roger Cleveland’s extensive short-game design expertise with Callaway Golf’s technological prowess. Every detail of the Callaway Golf Forged Wedges has been carefully engineered to enhance short-game performance. The forged clubheads are slightly smaller than most other classic wedges on the market. This smaller clubhead makes for greater versatility, especially when playing trouble shots from bad lies. The Callaway Golf Forged Wedges have specially designed, computer-milled U-grooves that channel water, grass and sand away from the ball for cleaner contact and more control — while at the same time, avoiding excessive abrasion to the golf ball cover.

The Callaway Golf Forged Wedges are available in five lofts for right-handed golfers (52 degrees, 54 degrees, 56 degrees, 58 degrees and 60 degrees), and three lofts for left-handed golfers (52 degrees, 56 degrees, and 60 degrees). The Callaway Golf Forged Wedges also come in two finishes – Vintage and Chrome.

Nice heavy head, smaller profile overall than other wedge, excellent non-tapered grip, soft tip Callaway wedge shaft gives high launch for balls.

If you like a heavier wedge these are for you, very authoratative feel, excellent for excelerating though the ball. You can just let the wedge's weight do the work on finesse shots. Feel off the face isn't quite as soft as i'd expected but does give great feedback.

The bounce is a bit high on the 60° for my local conditions (11 deg), i'd prefer a more versatile grind to allow opening more easily but the 54° is excellent greenside for chipping, cut chips and excellent from the sand on long bunker shots. Short pitching from within 50m with the 54 is excellent.

60° also perforsm very well out of the sand but not sure of it's effectiveness in more hard packed conditions.

Overall a excellent looking and performing package but possibly not worth the premium retail price...find them secondhand if you can or on ebay.
