New technology has made it possible for golf clubs to be more effective and powerful than ever before. The Launcher 400 has the technology of the original Launcher 330 with the added benefits that come from a larger clubhead. This great feeling driver produces a higher launch angle with lower backspin for more carry and increased roll, and also offers an increased moment of inertia which reduces the amount of lost distance on off-center hits.

When i first took this amazing piece of equipment to the range, i expected to automatically hit it long and straight. But i didnt. I tried and tried to smash it and resulted in constant low snap-hooks.

When i got home, i realised that i may have been trying too hard to hit it big.

Then, the next saturday, i took it with me for my comp round. Standing on the first, a 390m par4, i stepped up and smoothed this lovely drive down the middle and very long, meaning only a 9iron into the green. For the entire round, my driving was thus - Long and Straight. I did not miss a fairway and played the best round of my life (+1). I fell in love with this driver. It is the greatest driver i have ever hit and it will be in my bag until i find one better (not likely). It is a truly remarkable driver and is worth every cent of what you pay, and they are usually reasonably priced. I play the 9.5° with the Stiff Flex Launcher Gold Shaft and have hit this driver over the 270m mark many times with this baby. Do yourself a favour, and get one. You havent played golf until you've played launcher golf.

Tip: Until you develop some confidence with it, dont try to smash it.

I have had this in my bag for roughly two years now and nothing I can find compares to it. It is long and forgiving, however, one down side is that it is not all that easy to work. I have found that a true swing and smooth tempo produces the best outcome. I put this driver with the factory stiff fujikura golf shaft (one of the best manufacturers of shafts in the world) along side a Titleist 905T with a YS6 shaft and found that mine still provided an additional 20m on it. You cannot go wrong with one of these, and you can still find the odd brand newy which are extremely competitively priced.

I spent nearly 3 months testing different drivers before I tested the Launcher. 983E and K, GBB II 415, Fusion and the R500's. In the practise nets the driver felt great, when I took it to the range I was blown away. With the Grafalloy Blue stiff shaft I hit the ball longer and straighter than I ever thought I could. The best part was when I hit them out of the toe and heel, The ball still flew further than I could hit my old hawkeye VFT and was only about 5 metres shorter than the ones out of the middle. You need this driver!

this outstanding big club has an excellent forgiviness rating and is very easy to hit the ball sweet. before i bought this driver i had an old callaway hawk eye and it has nothing on this driver which got me into a-grade golf. and you'll be amazed at the price on one of these clubs so cheap for how good the club is. i've never had so much fun until i bought this driver.
