Cleveland Hi-Bore (Irons)

Cleveland | Irons | User Rating: Rate-5 (5.0) | Add A Review

The HiBORE Irons feature the same revolutionary distance driven geometry found in the HiBORE Driver and HiBORE Hybrid, they’re by far the easiest hitting irons Cleveland Golf has ever made. In fact, with hollow construction and progressive sole weighting throughout the set, they offer an increased hitting area and unheard of forgiveness and accuracy. It’s like playing hybrids all the way through the bag. Bring on the easy. Bring on the game.

  • Unique full hollow construction design incorporated throughout the entire set
  • Utilises HiBORE Distance Driven Geometry to produce an effective visual transition from long to short irons
  • Progressive sole width promotes proper ball striking by supporting a shallow attack angle in the long irons and a progressively steeper attach angle through the wedge for optimised launch conditions

I have the 3 and 4 hibore irons, which I treat as hybrids replacing my usual clubs. I’m a high-handicapper and, honestly, I attribute about five strokes off my game last weekend to the new clubs: straight, long and low, and on their first outting. Their benefit was especially obvious when recovering from under trees (Mona Vale G.C. in Sydney), just like us high-handicappers would expect from hybrids.

Absolutely Amazing!!

I went through the swing analysis at the golf store. I was hitting my old clubs quite badly in comparison to these. I picked up the graphite model and immediately the weight just seemed perfect. My swing path changed but still the direction was only 1 degree off a perfectly straight shot. These irons are very very forgiving! Many of the reviewers say if you can’t hit straight with these then give up golf. Don’t give up, but if you don’t hit straight with these then keep at it because you soon will have them all flying straight!

You can also buy these with free wedges which makes it an excellent package for the price.

I am a high handicap golfer and these clubs are sensational for me. Very easy to hit and great trajectory. I’ve tried different clubs such as the r7 and Big Bertha and found these the better clubs for me without a doubt. From a mental perspective, I’ve hit so many good shots that the sound it resonates just whirls in my head and it’s a wonderful thing to have when you’re about to hit a shot.

The shaft and grips are also great and overall, a wonderful package. Highly recommended.

PROS

  • Forgiveness, feel, look.

Cons

  • Perhaps a tad expensive

These irons are sensational. I have a handicap of 13 and these are perfect for me. I bought these about a week ago and have shot two rounds with them and have finished the local par 72 in 80 on both occasions. Simple to hit and seem to find safety on their own, highly reccomended
