Cast 17-4 stainless steel body for consistency and strenth. A thin, high strength 17-7 maraging steel face and copper tungsten sole weights for lower center of gravity to get the ball airborne easily.
The aluminum bronze backweight for deeper center of gravity gives higher launch angle.

Have both a 20° and 24° irons, to replace my #3 and #4 irons. I find them to be a lot easier to hit, and a lot more accurate than the irons they replace. Where I find they really excel is in the longer grass, or rubbish off of the fairway. When hit well they cut through the 'rubbish' and get the ball up quickly. There are newer clubs on the market, but to use an old addage, 'you don't fix something, if it aint broke'.
