Maxfli Noodle (Balls)

IN: PRODUCT REVIEWS | Maxfli | Balls | USER RATING: (4.3) | Add A Review
Maxfli's research and development department set out to create a ball that combined the seemingly incompatible qualities of long distance and soft feel at impact; it was called Project Noodle. They succeeded in their quest, and the Noodle was born. The secret of the Noodle is a high-energy, low-compression core material, soft-yet-durable Surlyn cover, and a high-launch 408-dimple pattern.

Want maximum distance without a hard feel? Try the Noodle, the ball with the intriguing name and outstanding performance.

Great distance off the tee.Nice feel off the irons. Will tend to run a littel on hard greens. But overall a great ball for the dollar and expact a few rounds out of it before it starts to scuff up.

Paid $30 for a dozen of these balls in an attempt to see if playing the same ball would improve my consistency. Too early in the experiment to give a good assessment of my scores, but I am loving this ball. Feels nice off the club, especially the putter. Good combination of distance and feel for a golfer of my standard(22hcp).

If you've played the Precept Laddie, Optima TS, Wilson Smartcore or Callaway CB1 Red then you'll have a pretty good idea of what to expect with this ball. When you actually hit one though you'll forget about all the others and find a place to buy a box of these babies!

The Noodle feels great coming off both my woods and irons (especially the 3 and 4 iron for some reason) and IT GOES LONG. I've never been a guy who hits a long ball (and still aren't) but with these balls there seems to be extra distance from the same old swings; which is what every high handicapper wants most right!

As an example, on only the second hole I played with the Noodle I hit 3-wood and then pitching wedge into a 360m par 4 (one of the holes on the back nine at Royal Hobart - a real nice course by the way). Normally it would take me the best drive I could hit followed by a solid five iron to travel that far.

They feel soft enough around the greens too, but don't get cut up on the mishits.

I love it - they really are long and soft.

very nice for irons and putting. My putting has improved better feel and short shots around the fringe and bunkers very nice. Still having problems off the driver but that's not balls fault so i cannot comment on the distance, but persistance is the game overall a very nice ball. I have got the a10's and also callaways but i truely like the feel of this ball. Have a go

I have been using the Noodle for some time now.And it feels great off the tee & just keeps going & going & going ! Has very little backspin on my iron shots but has a great feel around the greens. It also is a very durable ball,& my handicap has only gone down since changing to the NOODLE!

I love this ball. It just seems to go forever, and yet I was still able to control my iron and pitch shots well with it.

Itís not a spin ball, so youíll have to allow for a little bit more roll on the ¾ and pitch shots, but itís easy to control from the bunker and chip/run shots.

Wonít stop as well as the premium balls on the little cute shots, but will try its bestÖ.

A really soft feeling ball off the club head, which will stop nicely on full shots. But does not putt softÖcomes off with a nice clickÖ

An amazing ballÖif you're using a hybrid ball (Nxt Tour/Distance, McLady, Laddie, SuperSpin, Smartcore etc etc), give the noodle a try...you'll be surprised...

Mau.
