MaxFli Dunlop A10 (Irons)

Blade or Cavity Back used to be a difficult decision, but not anymore thanks to Maxfli's new A¹º Irons, which offer the very best of both of these types of club. Maxfli started by inventing a new, patented clubhead construction, where soft nickel is encased in a hard chrome outer layer. The result is the softest feeling, most consistent iron you'll ever play.

The reviews on the other sites all love these clubs, but I'm a bit disappointed.

They look great, particularly the full blade short irons, and the short irons feel really good. But I don't hit these as far as my old Brosnan Silver Bullets.

I only got rid of them because they were aging and I couldn't hit the long irons. I still can't hit the long irons! I love the sand wedge though.

These are great looking clubs, which is not too surprising coming off a set of King Cobras. Excellent feel and length from the cavity backed long irons through to the bladed lofted clubs. The U-shaped grooves on the 8-sw clubs give plenty of control and backspin when hit well. Have found these irons to be up to 2 clubs longer than I used to hit, but don't know if it is because they are a stronger loft and / or because they are 1 1/2 inches over standard. Overall a great club - a great shame they will not be made anymore
