Swift goes low again to lead WA PGA

On a day that produced some brilliant scoring around the tight Wanneroo layout, Richard Swift from NSW again shot the lights out and produced another 6 under, 66 to be the clubhouse leader on 12 under after the second round of the 2003 WA PGA Von Nida event. With seven birdies and one bogey for the day, Swift holds a one shot lead over New Zealander, Tim Wilkinson who shot a wonderful 65 to follow up his 68 from round one.

The story of the day however, came from Victorian Pat Giles who broke the course record of 66 to post a 8 under the card 64 and find himself equal third with four other players on 9 under. These include Craig Carmichael (65)- NSW, David McKenzie (65) – Vic, Kim Felton (67) –WA and Adrian Percey (67) – SA.
