Felton takes control on his home course at WA PGA

Western Australian, Kim Felton had a day out on his home course of Wanneroo in the third round of the 2003 Western Australian PGA Championship. Felton who started the day on 9 under came to the 17th 19 under, 10 under for the day and although he had two bogeys on 17 and 18 the outstanding round of 64, 17 under for the Championship saw him two shots clear of the field.

Close behind Felton is Queenslander Ryan Haller on 15 under who followed his 66 on Friday with another yesterday. Leader, Richard Swift had a mixed round starting the day birdie, birdie on the first two holes, however an 8 on the par four third stopped him in his tracks until he regained his composure to finish 1 under for the day, 4 strokes behind the lead and in strong contention for the Championship.
