Western Australian, Kim Felton defended his 2002 WA PGA Championship title with a stunning final round 65 to win the $100,000 Von Nida event held at Wanneroo today.

With rounds of 68, 67, 64 and 65 to finish 24 under for the tournament, Felton destroyed the field by 8 shots on a day that again provided high quality golf. With eight birdies and one bogey, Felton showed why he is regarded as one of the best ball strikers going round and next in line to make a mark on the world golfing stage.

Adrian Percey from South Australia shot a final round 69 to finish the tournament on 16 under and second place on his own.

He was closely followed by Euan Walters, who always plays well in the West and Victorian Leith Wastle both tied on 14 under.

Richard Swift leader after the first two rounds had a disappointing round of 78 to finish well down the placings.
