Germany’s Tobias Dier backed up his record -10 (60) with a -3 (67) on the second day to take a three shot lead in to day three of the Dutch Open.

It seems Aussie Peter Lonard has brought with him the form that has earnt him over US$1 million on the US Tour this year. Lonard fired a -7 (63) to join Englishman Jamie Spence in a tie for second at -10, and Mark Roe’s 64 took him to -9.

Nick Faldo fired back to back 68’s while John Daly and Retief Goosen were in a group at -3. Defending champion Bernhard Langer shot a 69 to make the cut by just a stroke at Even Par.

As mentioned earlier, Peter Lonard, leads the Australians in second place. Jarrod Moseley is next best, three strokes back at -7 and in equal 5th. Peter O’Malley sits in 16th, Nick O’Hern 27th, Stephen Leaney and Lucas Parsons 45th, Greg Turner 58th and Scott Gardiner at 1 (T62). Boult, Scahill, Fowler and Rumford missed the cut.
