Augusta National announces course changes for 2004

Hootie Johnson, Chairman of Augusta National Golf Club and the Masters Tournament, announced that the following golf course changes were made this summer in preparation for the 2004 US Masters:
Hole 11 (Par 4, 490 yards)
* 36 Pine trees added to the right of the fairway.
Hole 13 (Par 5, 510 yards)
Green rebuilt and heating and cooling system installed.
"The addition of trees at No. 11 continues our long-standing emphasis of accuracy off the tee," Johnson said.
