Another top ten for Nikki Campbell in Japan

Following on just a week after her third placing at the Japan Women’s Open, rookie Australian Nikki Campbell has again finished inside the top ten, with a seventh placing at the Sankyo Ladies Open today.

Campbell started slowly in the event but produced rounds of 68 and 70 over the weekend to come from 33rd after day one to finish alone in 7th.

Campbell finished seven shots behind the winner, Korean Ji-Hee Lee who secured her fourth event of the season, and will earn $A28,000 for her effort.

There are still six events to go on the Japan LPGA Tour of 2003 including the rich Mizuno Open which is co-sanctioned with the USLPGA.
