The 2003 Emerald Lakes Queensland PGA Championship is underway in near perfect conditions at the Emerald Lakes Golf Club on Queensland’s Gold Coast.

West Australian Dean Alaban, New Zealander Paul Devenport and Gold Coast residents Craig Warren and Brad Andrews are currently sharing the lead after two hours play. All four players are three under through various stages of their front nine.

Tennis star Scott Draper, who has captured the imagination of media worldwide by his participation in the event, tees off at 11:45am local time alongside fellow Queenslanders Wayne Grady and Ryan Haller.
