The Australian PGA field goes from strength to strength with the announcement that American, Stewart Cink, will join the star-studded field.

Ranked number 50 in the world, Cink will join Greg Norman, Rich Beem, Steve Elkington, Adam Scott and defending champions Peter Lonard and Jarrod Moseley, in an impressive line up of Australian and International talent.

"To be honest, we were pleasantly surprised when Stewart's manager approached us about his participation. He was not on our radar, but we are thrilled that he is joining us," said Tournament Director, Rod Leembruggen.

"Stewart is a Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup representative, a multiple winner on the US Tour, and with three second places this year, sits at number 35 on the money list. He is a most welcome addition to what already is the strongest field assembled at the PGA for many years."

The Australian PGA Championship will be played at Hyatt Regency Coolum from December 11-14.
