With second stage qualifying for next season’s USPGA Tour now complete at all venues, five further Australasians have progressed to the final stage.

In California Nathan Green, Steve Alker, Scott Hend and Tony Carolan have advanced with Nathan Green doing the best, finishing in second place. Green’s strong finishing rounds of 68 and 67 saw him finish one shot behind American Ryan Armour. Alker was 7th, Hend 15th and Carolan 19th.

In Florida Grant Waite finished ninth and gets another chance at a USPGA Tour fully exempt card.

Australasians to miss out were Ben Ferguson, Adam Fraser and Andrew Buckle.

The final is to be held from December 3rd through 8th at Orange County National Golf Club near Orlando where some 165 golfers will tee it up, with the top 35 and ties gaining a card for the 2004 USPGA Tour. Those not making it there will gain at least some form of access to next year’s Nationwide Tour.
