Four players take early lead at MasterCard Masters

Despite a couple of morning showers, scoring is very good on day one of the MasterCard Australian Masters with four players now tied in first place at four under.

Two time champion Peter Senior, local Geoff Ogilvy, Queenslander Steve Bowditch and recent New South Wales Open champion Craig Carmichael have a one shot lead over Scott Gardiner and Adam Crawford.

Twenty-six players are currently under par after four and a half hours of play with the first group of the day having just finished their rounds.

Robert Allenby is two under through nine holes.
