Ideal conditions provide scoring opportunities at Masters

IN: News | Australasian PGA | MasterCard Masters (2003) | Round Three | by Bruce Young | 06 Dec 2003

The clouds have lifted, for the time being at least and gentle breezes will ensure ideal golfing conditions as the leading golfers are now just two hours away from their tee off times in round three of the MasterCard Australian Masters.

Early moves amongst the first few groups have come from Mike Clayton, John Senden and Steve Collins who are all at three under for the day and even par for the tournament through 16, 13 and 13 holes respectively.

The American, Michael Pearson, who was the medalist at last year's tour school here in Australasia has moved to one under par via two early birdies although they spoiled a little by a bogey at the fifth.
