Nick Flanagan finds form on final day

IN: News | Australasian PGA | MasterCard Masters (2003) | Final Round | by Bruce Young | 07 Dec 2003

New South Wales amateur and US Amateur champion, Nick Flanagan, has stolen the show early on day four of the MasterCard Masters with a front nine of five under 31 then two further birdies to be six under for the day and even par for the tournament. His only dropped shot came at the difficult par four 11th.

Flanagan will be ruing his finish to round three where he dropped four shots in the last five holes as he may well have been keeping his friend James Nitties on his toes for the top amateur award today otherwise.
