Plagued by weather disruptions, the Telecom Italia Open has been forced to finish on Monday. Reduced to a 54-hole event, the Italian Open had reached a very interesting stage with just an hour or so of play remaining when darkness forced a halt to the final round.
Frenchman Gregory Havret and Northern Ireland's Graeme McDowell currently lead the event, Havret with two holes to play and McDowell with four. They have a one shot lead over Thomas Levet with Angel Cabrera two shots behind Levet.
Twelve players remain on the course with the event now scheduled to finish at around 8.30 am Monday morning (Italian time).
