Adam Scott ignored the relentless rain at the Scottish PGA Championship to post a superb -7 (65) that took him into a four shot lead following round two. Scott, who missed out on playing in this week’s NEC Invitational in Seattle, moved to -12 and is four strokes ahead of fellow Aussie Richard Green and the unknown German Marcel Siem.
Scott Gardiner follows Scott and Green on the ANZ leaderboard, coming in at outright 14th at -5 following an Even Par round of 72. Peter Fowler is at -3 (T18), Stephen Leaney and Brett Rumford share 23rd place with veteran Peter Senior at Even Par (T41). Only one player failed to make the cut, Kiwi Elliot Boult, who was -1 after round one but collapsed today with a 13 (85).
