Neil Lancaster may have opened up a two shot lead at the Canadian Open but there is a host of players lined up to challenge that lead tomorrow.
Amongst that group are several Australians and New Zealanders headed by Greg Chalmers who currently lies in second place, Grant Waite in a tie for third one shot back of Chalmers, Frank Nobilo one shot behind Waite and Geoff Ogilvy, one shot back again and only four out of the lead.
Included in the group tied with Waite in third place are two pre tournament favourites, Vijay Singh and Justin Leonard along with Bily Andrade and Steve Flesch. This represents a great opportunity for Flesch to finally secure his long awaited and much anticipated first win on tour.
Other Australasians behind the above group are Rod Pampling at nine under five behind the lead, Paul Gow at 7 under, John Senden at 6 under and Steve Allan at 3 under.
