Perfect conditions again greet Australian Open field

IN: News | Australasian PGA | Australian Open (2004) | Round Two | by Bruce Young | 26 Nov 2004

As was the case on day one of the 2004 Hillross Australian Open, perfect early morning conditions have greeted the early starters at the Australian Golf Club. Clear blue skies and not a breath of wind should ensure a day of good scoring. The cut looks at this early stage as if it will fall around 6 over.

Tournament leader Kurt Barnes is out at 8:50am with several of the other leading players including Richard Green and Rod Pampling off at 7:44 and 8:17 respectively.

Yesterday's early leader Greg Chalmers has a 12:02pm tee time today.

Fine conditions are forecast through until Sunday with the possibility of a late thunderstorm on Sunday.
