Gleeson and Kingston burst clear in Shanghai

Second round leader, Australian David Gleeson, survived strong winds and the pressure of unfamiliar territory in round three of the Volvo China Open to maintain a share of the lead but now joined by the South African James Kingston. They have opened up a four shot lead over the chasing pack.
Gleeson is seeking his first significant win as a professional and although Kingston has won four times in Asia, a win tomorrow would be his most important win on that tour to date. He did however win two events on the South African Tour in 2001
Mexican Pablo Del Olmo is alone in third with another Australian Kim Felton in fourth.
Other Australasians are Scott Hend tied in fifth, Brad Kennedy 9th, Michael Wright 32nd, Adrian Percy 36th, New Zealander Richard Best 42nd, Unho Park 54th, David Bransdon 59th and Terry Pilkadaris 68th.
