Ryde Parramatta’s Jessica Noh and Concord’s Ashley Ona share the lead at the halfway mark of the Ladies Lake Macquarie Amateur at Newcastle’s Belmont Golf Course.

Both girls currently sit at one under 145, two shots clear of defending champion Julia Boland and Western Australia’s Whitney Hillier, who are on one over 147.

A further shot back on two over 149 is AIS Squad member Rebecca Flood along with Tasmanian Ashlee Dewhurst and Royal Adelaide’s Jovanna Bozanic.

Bozanic’s club mate Sarah King, vying for her third title in a row, is way back in 28th spot, 15 shots off the pace.

The Lake Macquarie Amateur is one of Australia’s highly sought after titles and is part of the national ranking system. It also is included in the Karrie Webb points series race.
