O'Hair leads by three at Bay Hill

Sean O’Hair has opened up a three shot lead at the Arnold Palmer Championship at Bay Hill in Orlando, his stunning second round of 65 continuing what has been a great run of late.
Despite a missed cut at the Transitions Championship last week, O’Hair has been in fine form in the early stages of this season and with a third place finish in this event last year, which included a third round of 63, his position in the tournament is of little surprise.
O’Hair leads first round leader and tournament invite, Jason Gore, by three with Robert Allenby and Ryuji Imada one shot further back. Allenby was round in 65 today to equal O’Hair’s best round of the day.
Tiger Woods is alone in 5th position at 3 under after his round of 69. Woods began the day with two quick birdies chipping in at the par four 10th then adding another when he got up and down from behind the green at the par five 12th. He again holed from off the green at the 8th hole (his 17th) to move to one under for the day and 3 under for the tournament.
Woods’ tee to green game has not been sharp in the opening two days but he has been saved by his short game and is still a threat to win his 6th title at Bay Hill.
The next best of the Australians is Stuart Appleby who fought back after a slow start but could only manage a round of 72 and he is now in 13th position as is John Senden who added a second round of 69.
James Nitties continues the good start to his rookie season finding himself in 27th position after a round of 71, Mathew Goggin is 35th, Aaron Baddeley 48th and Peter Lonard 55th.
