Bland sets course record at WA PGA

South Australian, Adam Bland has continued his good form by shooting a course record in the first round of the Western Australian PGA Championship today.

Bland, who has already won two events on the WA May circuit played a flawless round of 66 to be the clubhouse leader at 6 under. With six birdies and no bogeys, Bland showed why he is one of the most exciting players on the tour.

Two shots behind Bland is Marcus Cain and Andrew Bonhomme, who shot impressive rounds of 4 under 68, followed by fellow Queenslanders Andrew Duffin, Ryan Haller and Western Australian, Dean Alaban on 3 under, 69. Other sub-par rounds of note included Brad McIntosh and Wayne Perske on 70.
