Harman leads Dogwood into final day

American Brian Harman will take a one stroke advantage into the final round of the Dogwood Invitational being played at the Druid Hills Golf Club in Atlanta.

Harman, who is at 12-under-par through 54 holes, is being chased by two players Adam Mitchell at 11-under-par and Russell Henley, the second-round leader who is currently two shots off the pace.

Australian Mitch Krywulycz slipped down the leaderboard an is in a tie for 30th following a third round 73 to be at 1-under after opening with rounds of 71-71.

Harman, winner of the 2003 US Junior Championship, was instrumental in the US victories in the 2005 Walker Cup and 2007 Palmer Cup teams.

A fortnight ago Harman finished runner-up at the Sunnehanna Amateur and the world number 23 is set to claim his third major US amateur title in Atlanta after winning the Players Amateur in 2005 should he continue with his current form at the Dogwood.
