Bland maintains WA PGA lead

South Australian, Adam Bland maintained his impressive performance by shooting a solid two under par 70 to go with his course record 66 in the first round. Bland’s superior ball striking saw him make most par 5’s in two and with solid putting again finished strongly on his back nine with a two round 8 under par total.
“I’m happy with the way I am playing, however the tournament starts tomorrow”, he said.
Queenslander Matthew Ballard along with Brad Lamb and Andrew McKenzie, shot the low scores of the day with 5 under par 67’s. Ballard’s exciting round moved him into contention to be two behind Bland.
Other impressive rounds were Brad McIntosh with a 68 to be equal with Ballard at 6 under, David Diaz and Neil Sarkies also played well to shoot 69 and a two round total of 4 under.
All is set for a very exciting weekend of golf.
