O'Hern moves into President's Cup contention

Australian Nick O’Hern has moved within the top 10 of the International Team for the Presidents Cup to be held at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Prince William County, VA from September 20-25 2005.
Beginning the year in 15th place, O’Hern has moved from 11th place last week to 8th place this week. The Western Australian’s last two weeks saw him finish fifth at the Nissan Irish Open and third at the BMW Championship on the European Tour, to jump into the top 10.
Also currently within the top ten for the International Team is Adam Scott (4), Stuart Appleby (7) and Peter Lonard. Craig Parry and Rod Pampling are just outside in 13th and 15th place.
Both the United States Team and the International Team will be made of the top 10 players in the standings at the conclusion of the PGA Championship on Sunday August 14.
