Australians seek Champions Tour cards

Peter Senior and Wayne Grady will attempt to earn playing rights on the US Champions Tour when they line up this week at the Final Stage of qualifying in Scottsdale in Arizona for what many see as a license to print money.

Senior has just completed a successful start to his Senior career with a series of good finishes in European Senior Tour events while Grady has been forced back to qualifying after two seasons on the Champions Tour where he has achieved only limited success.

Senior needed to play his way into the Final Stage and did so when he finished 12th at his Regional venue in California. A last round of 67 ensured he would be in the field.

The Australian pair joins 76 others as they look to secure one of the five full cards with another seven conditional cards also available.

The Final Stage begins on November 17th.
