Senior on track at Champions Tour School

Peter Senior added a second round of 65 at the Final Qualifying for next year’s Champions Tour and at the completion of the first 36 holes he is well placed to earn one of the only five full status cards available from the event.

Senior is in a share of third position in the 78 player field at the TPC Scottsdale in Arizona but must maintain this sort of form if he has the right to play the lucrative Champions Tour next season.

Another seven Conditional cards will be handed out in addition to the five full status cards but given the history of the Champions Tour and the lack of starts for those with conditional status only it is important to secure one of the much sought five.

The other Australian in the field, Wayne Grady, recorded a second round of 76 and is effectively out of the race.
