PGA Tour cards up for grabs at Q-School

The Final Stage of qualifying for the 2010 PGA Tour school begins on Wednesday, the low 25 and ties from the field of 170 earning their way onto golf’s biggest stage.

The tournament is played over 108 holes at the Bear Lakes Country Club in West Palm Beach and carries a total purse of US$1,012,000 with US$50,000 going to the leading qualifier.

The Australasian contingent numbers 16 and as a result there is expected to be several more Australians lining up in PGA Tour events in 2010.

Adam Bland, Andrew Buckle, Gavin Coles, Matt Jones, Ewan Porter, Alistair Presnell and Aron Price have all made their way directly into the Final Stage courtesy of their exploits on various tours in 2009.

Jamie Arnold, Ray Beaufils, Mark Hensby, Brad Iles, Won Joon Lee, Bronson La Cassie, David Lutterus, David McKenzie and Phil Tataurangi have all advanced from Stage Two.
