Cristie Kerr has set a new 18-hole tournament record following an amazing -8 (64). Kerr’s record round included two eagles at the 2nd and 18th holes, seven birdies and, somewhat amazingly, three bogeys.

Kerr started the day three strokes behind overnight leader Michele Redman but quickly wiped away the deficit after firing a 33 on the front nine. Her back nine 31 gave her a one shot lead over world number one Annika Sorenstam heading into the third round.

Rachel Teske heads the only two Aussies playing this week and sits in outright 15th place despite a disappointing 1 (73). Karrie Webb made amends for her opening round 75 with a -1 (71) today and moved up two places to equal 16th at 2 in the twenty-women field.

Round Two – Australian Scores
15 1 Rachel Teske (72-73)
T16 2 Karrie Webb (75-71)
