Video: Karrie Webb ANZ Masters Interview

BY Bruce Young | ALPG Tour | 2010 ANZ Ladies Masters | Round Four | 08 Mar 2010

Karrie Webb’s six shot victory to win her 7th ANZ Ladies Masters at Royal Pines yesterday was as brilliant as it was emphatic.

Not only did Webb produce a tournament score of 26 under par to equal her own previous record, but she would also match her best ever round in tournament golf, nearly ten years after producing 61 for the first time during the LPGA Tour’s 2000 Oldsmobile Classic.

Webb was challenged early in the round by the defending champion Katherine Hull and was still only two clear of Hull playing the 14th. Birdies there, at the par five 15th and at the 18th however would see her finish six shots ahead of Hull and Korea’s Bo-Mee Lee.

After her round, iseekgolf’s Bruce Young caught up with Webb and in this audio clip, with imagery by Anthony Powter, she discusses the win and how she sees rates it amongst the long list of wins she has now enjoyed at Royal Pines.
