Cleveland Golf introduces CG1 Tour Irons
Cleveland CG1 Tour (Irons) | 13 Mar 2010
The new CG1 Tour irons from Cleveland Golf are designed for consistent ball striking, distance control and a new level of forgiveness never seen before in a blade.
The split cavity-back long irons and muscle-back mid/short irons maintain a traditional look while providing extra forgiveness and the workability and feel of a blade.
In addition to their envelope-stretching milled TOUR ZIP GROOVES, the CG1 Tour features a breakthrough surface roughness technology known as LASER MILLED.
Using the precision accuracy of a laser, each face features four perfectly calibrated texture lines milled between each groove exactly to the conforming roughness limit.
Laser Milled face technology optimizes ball-to-face friction and maximizes spin within the Rules of Golf.
The CG1 Tour irons will begin shipping on April 1, 2010 and will carry a MAP price of US$799.
