Play resumes at Aussie Amateur

Play has resumed at the Australian Amateur Championships in Perth after strong winds and inclement weather caused a number of second round matches to be suspended yesterday.
Australian Amateur Stroke Champion and number 1 seed, Matt Jager, continues to look the part as he progressed to the quarter-finals with a 1-up win over Lincoln Tighe.
Jager is scheduled to meet Michael Williams this afternoon after Williams accounted for Tim Hart, 4&3.
Jordan Sherratt is out of the championship after Geoffrey Drakeford won their second round match 1-up, with Drakeford currently 2-down through two holes against Chien Tao Hung.
2009 Australian and New Zealand Amateur Stroke Champion, Bryden Macpherson, is currently 1-up after the the first hole in his quarter-final match against Allan Haughie and in the other quarter-final match, Kieran Pratt is 1-up through two holes over New Zealand’s, Ben Campbell.
