Sheehan earns US open start

Victorian based Paul Sheehan is one of four players to earn the right to play this year’s US Open when he qualified at the Japan Golf Tour’s US Open Sectional Qualifying in Japan today.

Sheehan joins Toru Taniguchi, Hiroyuki Fujita and Kaname Yokoo as the four qualifiers to head for Pebble Beach in the 36 hole contest that was played today.

The 2010 US Open kicks off on June 17th at the famed Pebble Beach Golf Links in California.
