32 wins for Hale Irwin on the Seniors Tour, another 20 on the regular tour including three US Opens, Irwin must be considered one of the greatest players in recent years. He has had a love affair with Hawaii with several of his successes coming there.

This was his third win of the year and moved him to third on the money list behind Doyle and Fleisher. John Jacobs pushed him for most of the last round and whilst in the end he won by three, it was birdies on the last two holes that created breathing space. Doyle was third continuing his most remarkable run of consistency.

Stewart Ginn was 15th (US$23,000) Bob Charles 22nd and Graham Marsh 35th.
