A blistering back nine of 31 has given American Chris Kirk his second title of 2010 and moved him clear of Jamie Lovemark in the race for top Nationwide Tour honours this season.
Kirk, who won earlier in the year at the Fort Smith Classic, birdied his final two holes for a back nine of 31 at the Knoxville Sentinel Open in Tennessee to edge ahead of Travis Beroni with Matt Davidson and Kirk Triplett sharing third.
Tamworth raised Mark Hensby finished in a share of 5th, recording his best finish since a similar placing at the New Zealand Open earlier this year.
Sydney’s Won Joon Lee finished with a round of 67 to share 7th position securing only his second top ten of the season in the process.
Gavin Coles who was well positioned just two behind the lead heading into the final round could only manage a round of 72 on the low scoring layout and slipped to 12th.
With now only nine events remaining on the 2010 Nationwide Tour schedule, Alistair Presnell in 30th position leads the Australians on the money list.
