Korean golfer, Kyung Tae Kim, won his third Japan Golf Tour event of 2010 and has raced well clear on the Japan Golf Tour money list by winning the lucrative Mynavi ABC Championship near Osaka.
Kim held off a challenge from Ryo Ishikawa, who, playing in the group ahead on the golf course, produced a final round of 67 and awaited his fate. So too did his many adoring fans who were so keen to see another victory for the 19 year old.
Kim was up to the task with a birdie at the 17th to give him a one shot lead and then a par at the last to see him claim the ¥300 million first prize and move a massive ¥44 million ahead of Ishikawa on the money list.
Toru Taniguchi, Katsumasa Miyamoto and Tetsuya Haraguchi tied for third position one shot behind Ishikawa with both Haraguchi and Miyamoto bogeying the par five last to lose any chance of victory.
Steve Conran and Craig Parry led the Australasians when they tied for 22nd, Chris Campbell and David Smail were 43rd, Edie lee 64th and Paul Sheehan 68th.
The Japan Golf Tour now has a one week break before the Visa Taiheyo Masters in Shizuoka
