World number one Yani Tseng has edged out two time winner and defending champion Na Yeon Choi to win the LPGA Hana Bank Championship in Incheon in Korea.

Brittany Lincicome, Jimin Kang and Soo Jin Yang finished in a share of third two shots behind Choi.

It was Tseng’s 6th win of the 2011 LPGA Tour and together with her two impressive victories in Australia and another in Asia make up for what has been a simply stunning year for the 22 year old Taiwanese, but now resident of Florida.

Choi was on course for her third consecutive victory in this event and but bogeys early in her round and a mistake free final round from Tseng saw her miss out on the chance of a three-peat by one shot.

Katherine Hull finished 50th Karrie Webb 53rd.

The LPGA Tour now heads to Kuala Lumpur for the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia event at the Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club.
